Almond butter is similar to peanut butter, but of course it's made from almonds instead. Almond butter is high in monounsaturated fats, and is an excellent source of vitamin E, magnesium, and fiber.  Almond butter also provides dietary protein, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, and iron. This almond butter is raw, but almond butter can also be made from roasted almonds. It's a good idea to refrigerate almond butter to prevent spoilage and oil separation.

The macronutrient profile of almond and peanut butters are roughly the same, although almond butter contains less saturated fat.
